Skaw Pre-Cast was founded by Jack Skaw with the help of his father Edmund in 1973.  The company was started on the family dairy farm and consisted of one tank mold, one riser mold, one boom truck and a cement mixer mounted on the back of a Ford tractor.   The first tank was poured on June 24^th 1973 on the edge of an alfalfa field; it was a 1250 gallon septic tank. After the seventh tank was poured, production was stopped.  A long wait began for the phone to ring.  The phone finally rang on a Saturday in late July.   Thirty some years and thousands of tanks later, we are still here.  The one commitment that was established decades ago still remains today…….to manufacture ONLY concrete tanks that are very durable, delivered on time, fast and efficiently at a competitive price.
